Hotel Morris was designed by architect Virgil Dante Cizzio in 1929, boasts a rich history. The Italian renaissance building has been restored as a boutique heritage listed hotel designed by Tom Mark Henry. The hotel, spanning 13 floors with 82 guest rooms, seamlessly combines European elegance with a distinct Australian character. Bar Morris, an Italian Cocktail Bar and Restaurant is part of the food and beverage offerings, situated on the ground floor, Bar Morris provides a stimulating experience, fusing Italian palazzo and Art Deco aesthetics.

The interior, with natural stone, bold colours, brass details, and unique textures, evokes a secret society ambiance and features a number of Sphera lighting products such as Ribbon 360 pendant, Ago, Pinlight, Pano Linear Uplight, Profilo 0709 and Custom Countertop brushed brass tubular lights.

Hotel Morris and Bar Morris has recently been Commended in the 2023 Eat Drink Design Awards for Best Hotel Design and Best Bar Design. Congratulations to the Tom Mark Henry design team!
