Hotel Verge is a new 86-room hotel in Launceston, Tasmania, with a sophisticated industrial luxe aesthetic. Cumulus Studio took inspiration from the precinct’s early industrial heritage, using a palette of timber, brick, glass and concrete, with sleek steel details and green accents. Sphera architectural lighting features throughout the hotel, creating an intimate atmosphere in the hotel rooms, boardroom and restaurant, Diverge.

Located adjacent to Launceston’s celebrated Harvest Market, Diverge serves up a menu of dishes filled with fresh, local produce. Black Cilindro and Zinco lights illuminate the dining room. The Cilindro shades are fixed to the white ceiling and provide direct light over the tables, while the Zinco shades are mounted on black tracks and provide angled light to enhance the dining experience. A series of Zinco lights is mounted in close configuration along a track to light the flourishing green wall.
